Service Care Solutions are working alongside the London Borough of Barnet Council who are looking for a talented individual to step into a client manager role within their growing company. Please find a description of the role below.
Role: Accountancy Officer
Location: Barnet
Salary: £16.50 to £20.17 per hour (PAYE exc.) / £18.27 to £22.49
Working: Hybrid, 37 hours per week.
Contract: 3 months ongoing
Role Overview:
- Administer and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Support the finance management team in the preparation of budgets, financial reports, and audits.
- Process invoices, payments, and other financial transactions efficiently and in compliance with established procedures.
- Assist in reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Maintain and update financial databases and accounting systems.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and Council policies.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with residents, businesses, and other stakeholders.
- Respond to financial enquiries and resolve issues professionally and promptly.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency of financial processes.
- Undertake any other duties commensurate with the role as required.
