This is an opportunity to join Refuge as a Deputy Service Manager to support women and children who are impacted by domestic abuse. In this role you will provide line management and support to staff who work with and help women and their children who are experiencing violence in their relationships. This will include providing supervision on complex casework issues such as child protection, overseeing operational emergencies and ensuring high standards of casework.

This post is restricted to women due to the nature of the role. The Occupational Requirement under Schedule 9 (part 1) of the Equality Act 2010 applies.

As part of this role, you will be required to participate in an out-of-hours on call rota.
