A leading manufacturer in Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk, is seeking an experienced Machinist to join their team. This hands-on role involves producing high-precision components using CNC Mills, Lathes, and manual machines. You will play a key role in ensuring quality and accuracy in all machined parts.
What's the pay & hours?
- £34,000 per annum (depending on experience)
- Monday to Thursday, 06:00 - 16:00 (four-day workweek)

Key Responsibilities:
- Produce high-tolerance components using CNC and manual machines
- Set up machinery with established tooling and programs
- Conduct first-off inspections to ensure quality standards
- Maintain health, safety, and quality in all work processes
- Champion 5S and TPM principles for continuous improvement
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly and efficiently
- Work independently and meet production deadlines
