You must have agency-side experience for this role - This is not a sales role.

We’re looking for an Account Manager with strong agency background, who brings energy, clarity and calm control to every project – someone who thrives in a small, collaborative team, and can confidently run accounts across creative and digital campaigns.

This is a hands-on role working closely with senior leadership and the wider agency team. You’ll play a key part in shaping client relationships, making sure everything runs smoothly, and supporting the development of a strong and reliable account handling function within the agency.

We’re after someone who gets stuck in, brings fresh ideas, and genuinely enjoys making things happen.

What you'll be doing

  • Client service: You’ll keep projects on track and clients in the loop – making sure nothing slips through the cracks and everyone knows what’s needed and when.
  • Build trusted relationships with clients and become a go-to for day-to-day delivery.
  • Keep on top of project status and timelines, anticipating issues before they arise.
  • Understand the client’s world – their market, audiences, product, and pressures.
  • Act as a clear and calm communicator between the client and the agency team (creative, production, media).
  • Confidently manage digital workstreams – from social and display campaigns to website updates (WordPress experience is a plus).
  • Help protect and uphold a consistent brand tone of voice across creative deliverables.
  • Understand client processes and integrate them smoothly with agency workflows.
  • Take ownership of estimating, timelines, contact reports, and delivery tracking.

Internal collaboration

  • You’ll work closely with the team to get things done – and done well.
  • Help develop and support more junior team members, sharing knowledge and experience.
  • Organise your own time and others to meet deadlines without drama.
  • Flag issues early and work with the team to find smart solutions.
  • Support with agency admin where needed (timesheets, status docs, reporting).
  • Be proactive in spotting ways to improve how we work – together and with clients.

Strategy and thinking

  • You don’t need to be a strategist, but you do need to think.
  • Understand the bigger picture – what we’re trying to achieve and why it matters.
  • Stay curious about client sectors, competitors, trends, and target audiences.
  • Help translate client briefs into clear internal briefs that inspire good work.
  • Keep an eye on the evolving digital landscape, particularly paid advertising.

Client partnership

  • We’re all responsible for growing the agency – by doing great work and spotting opportunities.
  • Build and maintain knowledge about clients, their brands, challenges, and ambitions.
  • Listen for opportunities to grow the account or bring new ideas to the table.
  • Support new business activity when needed.

Who you are

  • Likely to have 2–4 years’ experience in an agency environment (or similar), managing creative and/or media campaigns.
  • Organised, proactive, and calm under pressure.
  • A great communicator who builds rapport easily.
  • Naturally collaborative and solutions-focused.
  • Confident working on digital campaigns – including social and display advertising.
  • WordPress experience and ecommerce understanding are a bonus.
  • Comfortable working in a small, nimble team where everyone mucks in.
