A well-established retail business is seeking a Chef de Partie for a permanent position near Crawley (RH10). This role offers a 38-hour contract with day shifts only, and a salary of circa £27,000 - £29,500 plus benefits.
The award-winning multi-purpose retail outlet has several venues across the South of England, each featuring a large, high-volume on-site restaurant. These restaurants provide breakfast and lunch dining, operating between the core hours of 9am to 5pm from Monday to Saturday, and between 10:00am and 4:00pm on Sundays. The venue offers full breakfast service until 11:30am, followed by an array of hot food served counter style, including fresh pizzas, home-cooked pies, and an on-site carvery.
As a Chef de Partie, you will oversee the counter service, the carvery, pizza oven, and patisserie counter. This role benefits from sociable hours with no split-shifts, alternate weekends off, a day off during the week, and only one late night per week.
Key responsibilities:
- Ensuring the highest standard of customer service is always delivered.
- Supporting the rest of the kitchen team during busy service.
