Orka Financial is currently working with a client based in Reading which is looking to hire a French speaking Financial Controller to act as a bridge between their French and UK entities. Working closely with the Group Finance Director in the UK and the European Finance Director in France, you will be tasked with improving the reporting of the French entity, ensuring that the month end process runs smoothly and reporting is delivered accurately and on time. This role will involve extensive travel between the UK and France, you can expect to be spending two weeks per month in each location. In order to be considered for this role, you will need to be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or CIMA) who is fluent in French and have a track record of solving issues in a proactive manner. You will also need to have extensive staff management experience. Our client would like someone in place before Christmas so that they can pick things up straight away in the New Year.
