Finance Assistant – 14-Month Fixed Term Contract 📍 Based On-Site in Deeside 💰 Competitive Salary + Benefits We’re working on behalf of a well-established organisation who are currently seeking a Finance Assistant to join their project team on a 14-month fixed-term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure to a high-profile finance system implementation project within a collaborative, fast-paced environment. The Role: This position plays a key part in supporting the transition from SAP to Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O. You’ll be involved in data migration, testing, reporting and training – making it ideal for someone with previous experience in finance projects or system implementations. Key Responsibilities: Support the migration of financial data with accuracy and attention to detail Assist in testing the new finance system and reporting issues Create user guides and deliver training to team members Produce financial reports throughout the transition period Help identify and implement process improvements Maintain thorough documentation of processes and procedures Ensure compliance with internal policies and financial regulations Work closely with finance, IT, and project teams to support a smooth implementation What You’ll Need: Prior experience in a finance assistant role Exposure to system change projects or ERP implementation Strong Excel skills and experience using finance systems (SAP, Dynamics 365 desirable) Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail Good communication and interpersonal skills A proactive and team-oriented approach This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a transformational finance project – perfect for someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving and process improvement.
