We are looking for a Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant to join a primary school based in Northampton. This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils who need a little extra help to feel safe, valued, and ready to learn. Your role will include: Supporting children with emotional, social, or behavioural needs, both 1:1 and in small groups. Helping children regulate their emotions and build positive relationships. Assisting in lessons and encouraging engagement with learning. Working closely with teachers and support staff to deliver individual behaviour plans. Communicating effectively with families and other professionals. We're looking for someone who: Loves working with children and wants to make a difference. Is calm under pressure, nurturing, and patient. Understands the challenges some children face and can offer support with empathy and consistency.
