Roofing Site Manager / Supervisor 📍 Based in Essex & Surrounding Areas 📅 Full-Time A well-established, family-run roofing and restoration contractor—known for delivering high-quality work across residential, commercial, and heritage sites—is seeking an experienced Site Manager/Supervisor to join their growing team. The company has built a strong reputation over several decades for its attention to detail, skilled craftsmanship, and commitment to traditional building methods. Role Overview: You’ll be responsible for managing day-to-day operations on-site, supervising teams, and ensuring that roofing and restoration projects are completed safely, on time, and to a high standard. This role is ideal for someone with a solid background in roofing who enjoys working on both modern and heritage properties. Responsibilities Include: * Supervising on-site teams and subcontractors * Coordinating project timelines, materials, and site logistics * Conducting quality control and ensuring health & safety compliance * Liaising with clients, surveyors, and internal teams * Reporting project progress and addressing any challenges Requirements: * Proven experience managing roofing projects * Strong knowledge of slate, tile, lead, and traditional roofing systems * Liquid Waterproofing * Built Up Felt * SMSTS or SSSTS certification * CSCS Gold or Black card preferred * Full UK driving licence * Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills * Passion for traditional building techniques is a plus
