Omega is assisting a major family-run company in recruiting a capable and experienced Warehouse Assistant to join their team following a recent contract success. The role involves managing incoming goods, inspecting them for damage, and manually placing them onto appropriate shelves or cages for subsequent loading.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently picking and packing items.
- Securing pallets with wrapping.
- Finding and retrieving products within the warehouse.
- Assisting with loading delivery trucks.
- Maintaining a neat and organized workspace.
- Ensuring stock remains undamaged through careful handling.
Shift: Sunday - Thursday 2:00PM - 10:45PM / Sunday - Friday (day off in the week) 15:45PM - 00:30AM
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Prior warehouse experience preferred.
- Familiarity with manual handling techniques.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Enthusiastic and reliable approach to work.
- Forklift or powered pallet truck certification is a plus.
