About the Role: Are you hands-on, detail-driven, and passionate about craftsmanship? We’re looking for a skilled Coach Builder to join our clients specialist team working on bespoke commercial vehicle conversions. You'll play a key role in producing high-quality, custom-built vehicle bodies that are made to last. This is a dynamic, workshop-based position where initiative, precision, and practical knowledge are key.
What You’ll Do:
- Build and fit custom vehicle bodies using engineering schematics
- Install insulated panels and complete internal/external bodywork
- Carry out basic electrical installations (e.g., lights and accessories)
- Use power tools and hand tools confidently and safely
- Follow fabrication plans accurately, whether jigged or freeform
- Contribute to site maintenance and promote a clean, organised workspace
- Prioritise tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
What We’re Looking For:
- Prior experience in fabrication or coachbuilding (at least 1 year preferred)
- Practical understanding of commercial vehicle assembly
- Capable of reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Comfortable using workshop equipment and tools (own tools required)
- Own transport is essential due to location
- A strong work ethic, with a focus on safety and quality
