We have a fantastic opportunity for a Property Manager to join our client's Whybrow branch. Whybrow is looking to grow the commercial property management side of the business, being established 30+ years ago, the company boasts significant experience within its current directorship and holds a prestigious client database, solidifying its reputable standing in the commercial sector. Now part of our client's group, Whybrow operates across various property domains, including residential agency, commercial ventures, lettings, financial services, professional survey work, new builds, and land development. This integration presents an exceptional opportunity to leverage the group's extensive database of 100,000 contacts.

Requirements:

  • Have an understanding and experience of relevant commercial legislation including Landlord and Tenant Act law;
  • Liaise with clients and potential clients;
  • Have experience of commercial property software;
  • Deal with landlord and tenant issues;
  • Undertake property inspections;
  • Manage works and contractors;
  • Track and chase rent collection and arrears;
  • Manage and reconcile service charges;
  • Maintain and fully update property records;
  • Ensure the smooth operation of the department.

Location: The main Whybrow office is based in Colchester; however, my client is looking to expand their team to the outside of the Colchester area across Essex.

Hours of Work: Full time, Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm. Once fully competent in the role and after successfully completing the probation period, two days hybrid working will be available.

Salary: Β£25,000 - Β£30,000 pro rata, depending on experience.
