A Principal Structural Engineer is required to join the building structures team of this major multi-disciplinary practice, working from either their Basingstoke or Southampton office. They work on some of the world's most complex projects and are trusted partners to many within the construction industry. The work includes a mixture of sectors including schools, defence projects, transport and infrastructure schemes, historic works, change of use and new builds.
Your role will include taking responsibility for projects, hands-on design, managing more junior staff and engaging with clients to ensure effective and smooth project delivery.
You must have a strong background in buildings structure design, be articulate and technically strong and Chartered MICE or MIStructE. Knowledge of Tekla Structural Designer, LUSAS or similar would be useful.
Excellent benefits in line with working for a global corporation will be provided in addition to base salary.
