Must have a proven interest or commercial experience using AI. Middle has partnered exclusively with a key client to build an internal team of Developers. This team will support the continuous development of a brand-new division who are building an internal AI Chatbot. They consist of a team of Web Developers within an Enterprise business who have designed, built, and implemented an internal AI chatbot to help secure, automate and expedite business processes.

If you are a strong React Developer with a keen interest or proven commercial knowledge of AI, Chatbots or GPT, this is likely the perfect role, project, people and business for you.

Role:

In this role, the Lead Software Engineer will be the most senior technical resource in the division. You will work extremely closely with the Enterprise Architect and internal stakeholders to continue to implement AI tools that reduce routine tasks, save time whilst protecting the organisations data and security.

As a Lead Software Engineer you won't be line managing but coaching/mentoring the junior developers. You have exposure to full project management with internal stakeholders across the business. This will be from inception, documentation, solution design right through to post-implementation bugs.

The ideal Lead Software Engineer will have:

  • Must have commercial experience using AI.
  • Experience as a full stack developer within the JavaScript framework - TypeScript, React (Next.js) and Node.js. Ideally with knowledge of Terraform, Ansible, and Packer.
  • Knowledge of know-how using AI/ML in a personal project or workplace LLM, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.
  • Previous experience managing end to end project management solution design with Architects to implementation.
  • Previous experience within an Agile environment (Scrum or Kanban).
  • Experience in spotting and fixing flaws internally.
  • Great communication skills; gathering requirements, presenting and running Scrum sprints.

You must already have the right to work in the UK. No Sponsorship is available.

If you feel this role is right for you, please submit your CV.
