Aspire People are recruiting graduates to join our schools in Peterborough and the surrounding areas as Cover Supervisors - a fantastic opportunity to gain practical classroom experience before pursuing formal teacher training. You will be covering lessons in the absence of the teachers, helping to provide continuity of the classes to create a non-disrupted environment for the students.
What will you be doing?
- Deliver pre-planned lessons to the class
- Supervising classes in the absence of the class teacher
- Managing classroom behaviour
- Providing general support to students, ensuring work is completed and students are engaged
- Acting as a positive role model to the students
What do we need from you?
- Must be a University Graduate
- Good knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding Children in Education
- A keen interest in education with a desire to pursue a career in teaching
- You must have or be willing to process an Enhanced DBS
