Echelon Engineers are recruiting on behalf of a leading process plant equipment manufacturer who are looking for an experienced AutoCAD Draughtsman with strong P&ID experience to support ongoing project work on a contract basis.
The Role: You will be working closely with the engineering and project teams to produce detailed 2D drawings and process & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) for bespoke industrial systems. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in delivering high-quality drawings within manufacturing or engineering settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Producing 2D technical drawings and P&IDs using AutoCAD.
- Liaising with engineers to interpret specifications and requirements.
- Ensuring all drawings are accurate and comply with relevant standards.
- Making updates and revisions to existing documentation as needed.
Requirements:
- Proficient in AutoCAD (2D).
- Strong P&ID drafting experience.
- Background in process engineering, manufacturing, or similar industrial environments.
