Salary: £200 - £230 Daily (D.O.E)

Are you a dedicated and compassionate Speech and Language Therapist looking for an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of primary-aged students in a Special Educational Needs (SEN) setting? We are seeking a dynamic and skilled therapist to join our supportive team and help children with a variety of communication difficulties to develop essential skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication needs of primary-aged students with SEN.
  • Develop and deliver individualized therapy plans to support students' communication development.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, SEN staff, and parents to implement strategies and track progress.
  • Provide advice and training to school staff on supporting students with speech and language difficulties.
  • Regularly monitor and review student progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary.
  • Ensure all documentation and records are up to date and in line with school policies.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Speech and Language Therapist with a degree in Speech and Language Therapy (or equivalent).
  • HCPC registered and a member of RCSLT (Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists).
  • Experience working with primary-aged children, particularly within an SEN setting.
  • Strong understanding of a range of speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate, patient, and able to work flexibly to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Ability to create engaging therapy sessions that are accessible and enjoyable for children.
