Temporary Part-Time Scheme Manager (Retirement Living) Swindon & Chipping Norton Temporary On-going contract Part-Time, 25 hours per week About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Scheme Manager to manage two retirement living schemes located in Swindon and Chipping Norton. This role will involve overseeing the day-to-day running of the sites, ensuring residents feel safe, supported, and comfortable within their homes. The ideal candidate will be proactive, approachable, and well-organised, with experience in retirement living or a similar environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide daily support to residents, including welfare checks, managing requests, and responding to emergencies. Ensure buildings comply with health and safety regulations, including fire safety procedures. Liaise with contractors for repairs and maintenance work, keeping records and following up on outstanding issues. Foster a friendly and welcoming environment, organizing social activities and supporting resident interaction. Maintain accurate records of resident details, incidents, and maintenance schedules. Report updates to senior management. Requirements: Previous experience in property management, social housing, or retirement living schemes. Excellent interpersonal skills with a compassionate and patient approach toward elderly residents. Strong time-management and administrative skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
