Level 3 Nursery Practitioner – Ref No. PK62493 On behalf of a fantastic new Nursery in Horsham we are currently recruiting for a Level 3 Nursery Assistant / Nursery Practitioner to join their wonderful team working with any age group. You will support the Room Leaders with the management for your specific room and as such you will be a dynamic leader and supportive colleague. This is a full time, permanent position with flexible shifts. They can offer early shifts (7:30-4:30), late shifts (9:45-6:45), or alternatively you can work longer hours across a 4 day working week instead of 5 days. Salary ranges from £27,500 to £29,000 per annum with great opportunities for progression within the organisation. Candidates looking to take a step up will be considered and the company provides excellent further training and development potential. This newly-opened Nursery is a specially designed space that ensures a secure and engaging environment for early learning, featuring four age-appropriate rooms tailored for various activities. Horsham train station is only a short 15 minutes’ walk away, there are multiple bus routes, and the Nursery also offers free on-site parking. Level 3 Nursery Practitioner Key Duties, You will: * Support the staff team, offering day to day guidance and support to other Nursery Assistants * Ensure the safety of children is paramount and be aware of any potential dangers around them * Be responsible for feeding, washing and changing the children, and generally tending to their physical needs * Need to plan and participate in activities to engage and teach the child, eg. music, painting, reading etc. * Need to liaise with parents and your surrounding team members, monitor progress, keep records and reports, and communicate any suggested improvements that can be made to help the child’s development Level 3 Nursery Practitioner Skills and Experience * NVQ/CACHE Level 3 preferred * A good understanding and knowledge of EYFS * Ideally 2+ years’ experience of working in a nursery or similar early-years setting For more information on this Level 3 Nursery Practitioner role please call Phil King on (phone number removed)
