Senex Recruitment is hiring an Electronics Engineer to join an innovative and forward-thinking R&D team. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in the development and testing of cutting-edge electronic products that have real-world impact in challenging environments.
As an Electronics Engineer, you’ll play a key part in the full lifecycle of new product development. You’ll design circuits and PCB layouts, build prototypes, and support rigorous product testing — all while working alongside experienced engineers and manufacturing professionals. This is a hands-on engineering role where attention to detail, collaboration, and creative problem-solving are all part of your daily routine.
Key Responsibilities- Design and prototype circuits and assemblies to meet engineering project requirements.
- Develop PCB layouts and schematic diagrams using Altium CAD software.
- Support design documentation and help prepare manufacturing drawings and test procedures.
- Build test jigs and fixtures for validation and in-house product testing.
- Conduct product testing to international standards, documenting results for compliance.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to resolve issues related to material or process deviations.
- Assist with general engineering duties as needed to support product development timelines.
- Degree or HND in Electronics Engineering or a related field (or equivalent qualification).
- Hands-on experience in an electronics engineering environment.
- Proficiency in CAD for schematic design and PCB layout (i.e. Altium).
- Good understanding of standard electronic components and analogue/digital circuit design.
- Comfortable using engineering tools including oscilloscopes, signal generators, logic analysers, and spectrum analysers.
- Experience with SMT soldering.
- Ability to write clear technical documentation and reports.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
