Our client is currently recruiting for an Engineering Surveyor to join their existing team following a period of growth. The successful Engineering Surveyor will visit customer sites around the UK, carrying out examinations on pressure systems. Candidates living in or close to the following locations are encouraged to apply: Northallerton, Nottingham, Peterborough and Cambridge. Please note: As the role involves overnight stays, the candidate will need to be flexible with staying away from home.
Engineering Surveyor Responsibilities:
- Carry out surveys of pressure systems.
- Produce written reports on findings including any advice given to clients, report any mandatory or recommended requirements.
- Conduct statutory examinations.
- Provide technical advice and recommendations on ways to improve safety pressure systems.
- Support trainee or junior engineers.
Engineering Surveyor Applicant Requirements:
- Hold an NVQ level 3 – Mechanical bias.
- The successful candidate must have a strong mechanical engineering background and knowledge of pressure systems.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Strong customer facing skills and ability to build strong relationships with customers.
- Flexible with regards to travel including overnight stays and working independently.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
