The Opportunity
Our client is currently looking to recruit an NEC Supervisor to support one of their highway projects located just North of Perth. The estimated cost of the scheme is approximately £150M with a construction duration of approximately 3 years. The construction contract is currently being signed, and our client anticipates the contractor will be appointed to start in June/July.
Contract Estimated Duration – 12 months
This role has been deemed inside of IR35. This role will be based in Perth, Scotland.
Your duties and responsibilities will be:
- As an accredited NEC Supervisor, you will have experience in major road schemes.
- Supervising construction works and monitoring site operations.
- You’ll have a solid background in NEC contract, particularly in the role of Supervisor.
- Familiarity with the procedures, responsibilities, and nuances of the NEC4 Engineering and Construction Contract would be essential.
- Reviews of Inspection and Test Plans, Safe Systems of Work and Method Statements.
- Reviewing Temporary works & RAMS.
- Producing weekly & monthly progress reports.
You will have the following qualifications & experience:
- Appropriate NEC4 experience and certification.
- Appropriate CSCS card.
- Sufficient knowledge of required Health and Safety legislation, current CITB Site Managers Safety Training Scheme certificate.
- Must be able to drive to the sites.
