Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable History Teacher who is fluent in Welsh to join our dedicated team in North Wales. This is a fantastic opportunity to teach and inspire students through the medium of Welsh, while contributing to a strong humanities department.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging and well-structured History lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable).
Teach through the medium of Welsh and promote bilingualism across the curriculum.
Plan, assess, and report on student progress in line with school and national standards.
Contribute to the development of the History curriculum and cross-curricular projects.
Support extracurricular activities, including trips, clubs, and historical events.

Person Specification

Essential:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Fluency in Welsh and English (spoken and written).
A degree in History or a related subject.
Experience teaching History in a secondary school setting.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.

Desirable:

Experience teaching Welsh history and the Curriculum for Wales.
Ability to contribute to other areas of the humanities.
Involvement in extracurricular or enrichment activities.
