Our client is seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team in Sissinghurst, Kent. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our factory machinery and facilities. You will work alongside the Maintenance Manager to keep machinery and premises in top condition, contributing to the overall efficiency of our production process. Key Responsibilities: Fault Diagnosis & Repair: Quickly identify and resolve engineering faults on factory machinery, ensuring minimal disruption to operations Maintenance & Cleaning: Maintain and clean factory machinery, ensuring it operates efficiently and safely Support to Maintenance Manager: Assist in the repair and upkeep of machinery, buildings, grounds, and other structures as needed Premises Maintenance: Ensure that both internal and external areas of the premises are kept to a high standard of cleanliness and maintenance Workshop Safety: Keep the maintenance workshop a clean and safe environment, adhering to health and safety regulations Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and repairs conducted Training: Undertake training and development as needed, in agreement with the Maintenance Manager, to stay up-to-date with new systems and technologies Ideal Candidate: Experience & Skills: A solid background in engineering with practical experience in maintaining and repairing machinery.
