We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a number of experienced coachbuilders to join a well-established vehicle conversions business who are going through an exciting growth period. With a very low staff turnover, you will find our client to be a fantastic employer.
We are looking for candidates who have bespoke, blue light coachbuilding or vehicle fitting experience.
Job Details:
- Experience of working in the automotive repair or conversions industry, working on a variety of blue light and welfare vehicle projects.
- Duties include but are not limited to the stripping and fitting of all types of commercial vehicles, plastic welding for internal cages or cells.
- You will also be tasked with the removal and fitting of seats, panels, roof lining, door cards, interior trim, carpets, switch gear, light clusters and bumpers.
- Racking Systems, Flooring, Load Locks, Silicone Fastening, Kitchens, Toilets, Sanitizing Stations, Seating, some wiring and more.
- Use of a variety of hand tools such as different saws, reading engineering drawings and working to a high standard.
Job Experience:
- Experience of Vehicle conversions or extensive vehicle build experience.
- Experience of working in an automotive environment.
- Plastic welding experience.
- A working knowledge of H&S responsibilities.
- Able to work in a fast-paced, and targeted environment and to Kitemark BS10125 and manufacturer's standard.
