Are you an experienced and driven professional ready to lead a dedicated team in a residential home for children with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD)? We are looking for a passionate Registered Manager who has the skills and experience to make a real difference. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with 2 years of experience leading an Ofsted-registered home and 1 year of management experience.
You will have the responsibility to oversee the daily operations of a well-established 3-bed EBD residential home. This role offers you the opportunity to lead a dedicated team, directly impacting the lives of children in care while ensuring compliance with Ofsted standards. Key Responsibilities:- Manage day-to-day operations of the home while ensuring compliance with Ofsted and other regulatory standards. You will ensure the delivery of high-quality care, fostering a positive and respectful environment for both residents and staff.
- Develop, implement, and review individual care plans tailored to meet the specific needs of each resident.
- Supervise and support the care team, encouraging continuous professional development.
- Ensure safe medication administration and adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Regularly liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies.
- Promote a culture of dignity, respect, and compassion.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a residential home setting (EBD experience preferred).
- At least 1 year of management experience in a residential home.
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and care standards.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
- Relevant health and social care management qualifications.
