My client are one of the leading providers of bespoke purpose built furniture to national housebuilders throughout the UK. Due to rapid expansion and new customer wins they have an opening for an additional Cabinet Maker/Wood machinist to join their team.
Responsibilities
- Read and understand technical drawings and specifications
- Operate and monitor machinery
- Confident in using hand tools, power tools and machinery including panel saws, band edge saw and spindles
- Assembling of furniture
- Conducting quality checks and maintaining high standards
- Maintaining a clean and tidy workplace
- Following site health & safety procedures
- Maintaining machinery including cleaning, lubricating and inspecting equipment for wear & tear
Skills/Experience Required
- Previous experience in wood machinery / joinery processes
- CNC experience would be a distinct advantage
- Experienced in using hand tools
- Problem solving and attention to detail
