I'm currently working with a well-established and growing aerospace business that forms part of a larger engineering group. The company supports both internal group divisions and a number of external aerospace clients. They are now looking to recruit a Quality Manager to lead and develop all aspects of the Quality function across the site.
About the Role:
As Quality Manager, you will take full ownership of the Quality function, supported by a small team comprising two Quality Engineers and a Quality Administrator. The scope of this role includes:
- Maintaining and developing the business’s quality and environmental accreditations, including AS9100, NADCAP and ISO14001.
- Managing internal and external audits and ensuring continued compliance.
- Handling customer approvals and supporting customer audits and visits.
- Investigating and resolving customer and internal non-conformances (NCRs).
- Managing changes in customer specifications and supporting new product introduction (NPI) from a quality perspective.
- Driving continuous improvement through data-driven root cause analysis and process review.
About You:
We’re looking for an experienced aerospace Quality Manager who brings:
- A strong background in managing AS9100, NADCAP, and ISO14001 systems.
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
- Confidence and clarity in communication, with the ability to influence and engage both internal teams and external stakeholders.
- An understanding of chemical treatment or coatings processes would be advantageous, though not essential.
- UK right to work and the ability to meet security clearance requirements.
