ROLE: Mechanical Project Manager LOCATION: Medway, Kent SALARY: Circa £55k – £65k DOE THE COMPANY This company based in the Medway area of Kent area who have experienced significant growth in recent years. This company operates within the M&E industry from their newly refurbished offices. The company offer an ongoing career development plan, including the opportunity to grow within the company and training opportunities THE JOB This exciting Mechanical Project Manager job will aid a growing business and will consist of a mixture of office and site-based work. You will be responsible for managing the mechanical installation and delivery of projects, ensuring that works are delivered to the highest standards in terms of safety, quality, cost, and programme. You will act as the key point of contact for clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams. Your duties will include: * Lead the mechanical delivery of projects, ensuring compliance with specifications, drawings, and safety standards * Coordinate with design teams, engineers, and site staff to ensure seamless project execution * Oversee subcontractor performance and manage procurement of materials and labour * Monitor project progress, manage schedules, and mitigate any delays or issues * Ensure strict adherence to health & safety regulations and company policies * Manage project budgets, cost control, and financial reporting in conjunction with commercial teams * Provide technical input and resolve engineering issues on-site * Conduct regular site inspections, attend project meetings, and maintain client relationships WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR * Recent experience in a Mechanical Project manager position, proven track record of managing mechanical packages on M&E or building services projects * HNC/HND or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or a related field * Strong understanding of HVAC, heating, cooling, ventilation, and plumbing systems * Familiarity with relevant industry standards, legislation, and building regulations * Excellent organisational and time-management skills * Strong leadership and communication skills * Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and resolve problems quickly * Competent with project management software and Microsoft Office Suite If you are interested in this opportunity hit “apply” or contact Craig Humphrey at Xenon Recruitment today!
