Due to ongoing growth and expansion, we are currently recruiting for several new drivers to join our overnight delivery team, making multi-drop deliveries, predominately into office buildings throughout the night/morning, in and around London.
Key Responsibilities
- Overnight / Pre-6AM Deliveries: Complete multi-drop deliveries across London and Essex, primarily to office buildings, during night/early morning hours.
- Route Familiarity: Drive a refrigerated long-wheelbase van to various locations; training on routes and navigation will be provided.
- Loading and Delivery Accuracy: Efficiently load vans and ensure timely, accurate deliveries in line with operating policies.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the assigned vehicle to ensure safe and smooth operation.
Requirements:
- Driving License: Valid UK driving license held for a minimum of 2 years, with no more than 3 penalty points.
- Physical Ability: Capability to lift loads up to 25kg as part of the delivery process.
- Vehicle: Confident driving a long wheel-base refrigerated vehicle.
- Experience: Minimum of 12 months’ night shift experience preferred.
- Customer Focus: Strong “can-do” attitude and commitment to “going the extra mile” to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Team Player: Proactive and able to work collaboratively with other team members.
- Background Check: Successfully pass a Basic Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
