A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FOOD & BEVERAGE TEAM MEMBER AT OUR HOTEL What you’ll be doing… Take full ownership of event delivery, ensuring all logistics and on-the-day operations run smoothly and align with client expectations. Oversee room setups, AV requirements, and staff coordination to create a seamless guest experience. Lead, train, and motivate the events team to deliver exceptional service with a “Yes is the answer, what’s the question” mindset. Act as the main point of contact for the team during events, ensuring swift resolution of any issues. Act as the face of Wotton House on event days, ensuring every client feels valued and supported. Build strong relationships with clients on-site, ensuring their vision is flawlessly executed. Collaborate closely with sales, coordinators, and other departments to ensure events transition smoothly from planning to execution. Continuously evaluate and improve operational processes to maintain the highest service standards. Anticipate challenges, identify solutions, and ensure every detail is meticulously managed for a flawless guest experience. WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU Proven experience in event management within a luxury or boutique hotel setting. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire a team and maintain composure under pressure. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple events simultaneously. Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills. A passion for delivering outstanding service and a commitment to exceeding guest expectations.
