The Opportunity:
With all the information available today, it takes a skilled intelligence analyst to know how to find and interpret the best data to give their clients the right answers. As a Maritime Analyst working at a combatant command, you use your specialized technical and functional experience and your attention to detail to develop reports and analytic assessments to give your client the actionable intelligence and context they need. If you have strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset, we have an opportunity to use those skills to inform our nation’s leaders and to protect our national security.
As Maritime Analyst on our team, you’ll help your client understand their operational landscape and mission environment. Using your understanding of various collection platforms, you’ll explore new data sources, develop effective queries, and combine information from disparate sources and various intelligence disciplines. You’ll validate information and apply client tradecraft as you build assessments for senior policymakers and US IC-wide products. As the authority on your topic, your client will look to you for time-critical recommendations, often under pressure.
This is a chance to grow your expertise, develop new skills in intelligence analysis and partner nation engagement, and share your methodologies with other analysts. We focus on growing as a team to deliver the best support to our customers, so you’ll have resources for mentoring and learning new skills and tools.

You Have:
- 5+ years of experience with maritime capabilities or naval analysis
- 5+ years of experience with researching and producing intelligence products on military capabilities or political analysis, fusing ELINT, GEOINT, OSINT, SIGINT, and HUMINT into all-source analysis
- 5+ years of experience with supporting a Combatant Command
- Experience with ICD-203 Analytic Standards
- Ability to adhere to DIA tradecraft and writing standards, brief at the general officer level, and to produce foundational intelligence products and coordinate production across the IC
- Ability to work flexible shift hours and support crisis operations
- Ability to travel to support engagements
- TS/SCI clearance
- Associate's degree and 7+ years of experience with intelligence analysis, Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience with intelligence analysis, or 10+ years of experience with intelligence analysis in lieu of a degree
Nice If You Have:
- 8+ years of experience conducting maritime analysis, including analyzing maritime domain awareness infrastructure, capabilities and limitations of naval platforms, naval communications systems, and naval operations and exercise
- Experience with sea and maritime operations center
- Experience with applying technology and innovation to analysis
- Experience with partner nation engagements, including skills in briefing foreign military officers, participating in bilateral and multilateral intelligence exchanges, and working with FDO to coordinate release of intelligence IAW with relevant guidelines
- Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentations

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,500.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
