A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Property Maintenance Carpenter to join an award-winning specialist provider of commercial Facilities Maintenance Services to carry out reactive maintenance works for commercial clients such as pubs, restaurants, betting shops etc, across parts of Surrey and Hampshire.
LOCATION: Covering the Southeast.
SALARY: £42K - £46K basic plus company van, expenses, benefits, pension.
HOURS: 45-hour week. Monday- Friday.
As a Reactive Maintenance Engineer / Trades Person / Mobile Carpenter, you will be on hand to support a wide range of commercial properties that need your problem-solving abilities and friendly approach to delivering excellent customer service.
Day-to-day duties and responsibilities may include:
- General Carpentry.
- Plaster boarding / patch repairs.
- Flooring repairs.
- Installing doors & frames.
- Kitchen repairs.
- Lock replacements.
- Basic painting & decorating.
- Ad hoc building works.
- Log reports on inhouse IT portal.
You will be an experienced Carpenter or a Multi-Trader with a strong Carpentry background, possibly with an NVQ in Carpentry, maybe a CSCS card. You will have the ability to use your initiative to complete general building related tasks as required as well as good communication skills to carry out general building works. No day is ever the same!
