It provides chilled, ambient, contract packaging, and bonded logistics services, as well as value-added services, such as online visibility and systems integration, pallet management, and supply chain management. Job Description You will be responsible for the 24/7 Transport operations, managing the Transport Team comprising of 10 office staff and 30 drivers. As a line manager you will need to have experience in HR processes such as grievances/disciplinaries. Your main responsibilities will be supporting the Transport Manager in ensuring that costs are controlled in line with budget / forecast expectations. Transport compliance will also be a large part of your day to day, ensuring that MOTs and services are completed on time. You will act as a main point of contact for customer communication, dealing with the enquiries and keeping them up to date with progress.
