Company Description Culina Group Limited, through its subsidiaries, provides logistics, warehousing, distribution, and other services for the food and drink industry in United Kingdom and Ireland. It provides chilled, ambient, contract packaging, and bonded logistics services, as well as value-added services, such as online visibility and systems integration, pallet management, and supply chain management. Job Description You will be responsible for the 24/7 Transport operations, managing the Transport Team comprising of 10 office staff and 30 drivers. As a line manager you will need to have experience in HR processes such as grievances/disciplinaries. Your main responsibilities will be supporting the Transport Manager in ensuring that costs are controlled in line with budget / forecast expectations. Transport compliance will also be a large part of your day to day, ensuring that MOTs and services are completed on time. You will act as a main point of contact for customer communication, dealing with the enquiries and keeping them up to date with progress. This role is mainly 09:00-17:00, Monday to Friday however some flexibility will be required to be able to liaise with members of the team on the late/night shift. What will you be doing?
