Midday Meal supervisor Mon - Fri - 10:00am – 2:00pm Term time only Lambeth Special Needs school £13.69 per hour Temp to Perm contract.

A specialist SEND school for primary aged pupils with Autism is looking for a qualified and experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join them on a full-time contract basis for the academic year.

The Role

In this role you will be working as part of the midday meal staff to supervise 2 - 5-year-olds over the lunchtime period. The role will involve both serving the children's lunch and overseeing outdoor play. You will need to have a professional and energetic approach to supporting young children during play. A good knowledge of health and safety in the school environment would also be beneficial. Pupils attending the school range on the spectrum. Some SEND students with autism and some students may present behaviours that challenge. Please note that some personal care may be required.

This specialist primary school is for children aged 2 to 11 with severe learning difficulties (SLD), profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), Autism (ASD) and complex medical needs. There is an established and dedicated staff team at the school who are committed to supporting both the children and their families. You will have access to regular training and development opportunities within your role.
