Are you a Planner working towards your RTPI or someone who has recently received accreditation? If so, we would love to hear from you. Our ever expanding Oxford Planning department is looking for a passionate and motivated Planner to join our team!
This opportunity would suit someone who has gained some town planning experience in a consultancy, developer or local authority.
Our market leading Oxford planning team work on some of the biggest and most impactful schemes on the local market from mixed-use new settlements through to the delivery of Private Rented Sector (PRS) accommodation; new education facilities through to retail and hospitality projects; research and development campuses through to business parks; new homes through to conversion of heritage assets. Our clients range from major house builders to leisure organisations, developers to universities, housing associations to private investors.
Our work in multidisciplinary teams gives us unparalleled insight into the dynamics of commercial, residential and rural development. What you’ll be doing:
- Provide commercial and specific planning advice to clients integral to the development, regeneration and growth of Oxford and surrounding regions
- Proactively manage engagement with the local planning authority and other stakeholders
- Provide robust evidence to support the planning case
- Prepare high quality planning submissions and Development Plan Representations
- Represent the clients' commercial interests throughout the planning process
About you:
- Close to achieving RTPI qualification or already an MRTPI member
- Professional and experienced in the town planning sector
- Motivated and driven with a passion for planning and achieving the best outcomes for our clients
- Proactive, good team player, able to manage a demanding workload with a keen eye for detail
