Your new job role will be working for a higher education public sector organisation based within Greater Manchester.
Your new role:
- Perform PPM visits and reactive repairs on mechanical plant and equipment.
- Conduct plant room checks and manage the CAFM system.
- Carry out HVAC maintenance and demonstrate knowledge of BMS.
- Utilise post-training experience in a team-oriented, multi-skilled maintenance role.
- Apply general technical knowledge and fault diagnostic skills on building services, heating, and ventilation systems.
- Work independently without direct technical supervision, organising tasks and collaborating effectively with the team.
- Maintain mechanical plant and equipment in a customer-service oriented organisation.
What you'll need to succeed:
- NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical or Plumbing
- Previous public sector experience (desirable)
- PPM and responsive experience
- HVAC & AC experience/knowledge
In return you will gain a long term temporary contract with a well established university within Greater Manchester with the opportunity for an extension.
