Maintenance Fitter

Maintenance Fitter – Coatbridge Our client in Coatbridge are looking for a Maintenance Fitter to join their expanding mobile team based around central Scotland on a permanent basis. Role Overview: * Carry out planned and reactive mechanical maintenance on crushing, screening, and batching plant equipment * Respond to breakdowns, leading repairs to restore operations quickly * Monitor plant condition and ensure equipment performs efficiently * Work closely with the Engineering Manager to support production targets and safety standards Requirements: * Experience in heavy plant maintenance * Strong mechanical knowledge (hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, etc.) * Welding and fabrication skills * Ability to read technical and schematic drawings * Good fault-finding and problem-solving abilities * Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental procedures What’s on Offer: * Competitive Salary (DOE) * Overtime at time and a half / double time * Use of company vehicle for day-to-day duties * On-site parking * Ongoing training and development opportunities Shifts: Monday to Friday (Day Shift) + Overtime / Weekend Availability If this role sounds of interest, don’t hesitate to get in touch
