An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Controls Design Engineer to join a dynamic engineering team, focusing on the design and development of bespoke electrical control systems. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical schematics, layouts, and wiring diagrams for control panels, ensuring compliance with customer specifications and industry standards.
- Specify and source components such as PLCs, relays, HMIs, and sensors to optimize system performance and cost-effectiveness.
- Develop and integrate control systems with broader industrial processes, ensuring seamless functionality.
- Produce high-quality technical documentation including BOMs, test procedures, and user manuals.
- Work closely with clients to interpret requirements and incorporate feedback.
- Ensure designs meet relevant regulatory and safety standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams for smooth project delivery.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in electrical design, control systems, or a similar engineering role within manufacturing or industrial automation.
