Windows Server/Network Engineer required for a global organisation based within its datacentre in Wellingborough. This is an exciting opportunity for a server engineer/systems administrator to gain hands-on experience in a rapidly expanding datacentre.
The successful server engineer will work on high-level secure projects, building and configuring Windows Server 2016 and 2019, working on Active Directory and Exchange, and extending the current Cisco network and virtual environment utilising VMWare.
You must have hands-on experience (not helpdesk phone-based) of Windows and Linux-based servers and understand the networking protocols based around Cisco, including switches, routers, and security firewalls. Any exposure to cloud-based technologies such as AWS or Azure, Cloudflare, Imperva, or Akamai would be beneficial.
Some elements of travel will be involved, and therefore a clean UK driving licence is essential. Salary on offer is in the region of £50k, plus free onsite parking, flexitime, and team days/holidays.
