Logistics Team Leader (Nights) Permanent
West Bromwich
GBP14 per hour (depending on experience) + 25% shift allowance
39 hours per week Sunday to Wednesday 10pm 6am & Thursday 10pm 5am
We re looking for an experienced Logistics Team Leader (Nights) to join our dynamic and fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role will see you lead a team responsible for pick, pack, and dispatch operations during the night shift while driving continuous improvement across the warehouse.
What You ll Be Doing:
• Supervising and leading a team to ensure consistent, high-quality performance across pick, pack, and dispatch activities during the night shift
• Setting and maintaining best practices, driving accountability, and ensuring the team meets key performance targets
• Identifying and implementing new processes to improve efficiency and reduce customer complaints
• Ensuring training is delivered and that performance is monitored through regular reviews
• Supporting the development of operational procedures to improve performance and drive lean practices
• Enforcing health and safety standards, conducting risk assessments, and contributing to a positive, safe working environment
• Overseeing warehouse housekeeping and maintaining accurate inventory levels
What You ll Need:
• Experience in a similar logistics or warehouse leadership role
• Ability to motivate, train, and manage a team effectively
• Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
• A proactive, flexible approach to problem-solving and process improvement
• A solid understanding of health and safety procedures in a warehouse setting
• FLT license required
