Freight Coordinator

Swift Specialist Recruitment are looking for a Freight Coordinator (Air & Road) to join the team of one of our trusted clients, who are an established logistics companys, providing bespoke expedited transport solutions via road and air to its global clients. Job Requirements * Quoting emergency transport solutions to our UK and European clients * Chasing quotes via phone to ensure maximum conversion to sales * Organising emergency transport solutions to our UK and European clients * Ensuring client satisfaction throughout the contract via regular updates * Keeping invoices and PODs up to date, ensuring clients are regularly informed Desirable skills * Experience in planning emergency transports * The ability to plan and execute logistical solutions * An excellent telephone manner and experience in customer service/sales * Excellent IT skills * Knowledge of the EU regulations for road transport * An understanding of customs Whats On offer * Training and career development * Focus on innovation and technology * Teamwork * Excellent pay * Individual performance bonus * 30 days holiday * Company pension Please note this position has a rotating shift pattern: Monday – Friday, Week 1: 7am – 4pm, week 2: 10am – 7pm
