Trinity Hospice is a thriving independent charity based in the Fylde coast providing specialist palliative care for adults with advanced life-limiting illnesses and their families, as well as being the local provider of specialist palliative care for children via Brian House children's hospice.
Working in a busy hospice environment, the role will support the effective running of our Catering service. We work over a 7 day rota, including weekends. Our Cooks provide a high standard of catering to patients, staff, volunteers and visitors to the hospice. Duties will include preparing food and presenting and delivering food items around the hospice as required, whilst ensuring the food preparation areas and equipment are kept clean.
What you need:
- Experience of working within a catering environment, ideally with experience in a clinical or care home setting.
- Good knowledge of special dietary requirements.
- Ability to work well in a team and possess good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Non-judgmental and empathetic approach.
- Flexibility, high personal standards and a commitment to the vision and values of Trinity Hospice.
