Job Description

Fabric EngineerVictoria, LondonΒ£37,000 – Β£39,000We are working with a leading building services provider to recruit a Fabric Engineer for a high-end residential development near Victoria, London. This is a great opportunity to join a professional and well-structured 12-person engineering team, responsible for maintaining the communal areas of some of the most prestigious homes in the city.This is a Monday to Friday (8am – 5pm) role, focused on delivering high standards of reactive maintenance and fabric repair across the estate. While residents are high profile, the role will be focused on the common ways, not within individual apartments.Responsibilities: Carry out reactive fabric maintenance across communal areas including corridors, entrance ways, stairwells, and shared facilitiesTypical tasks include: Repairing and adjusting door closures and locksFixing architrave and ceiling hatchesPainting and decoratingMaintaining fire doors and fitting fire safety signageGeneral fabric related tasksEnsure all work is completed to a high standard, maintaining the premium look and feel of the buildingWork collaboratively with the wider engineering team to ensure smooth site operationsDeliver excellent customer service and represent the company professionally on siteRequirements: Proven experience as a Fabric Engineer, Handyperson, or Maintenance TechnicianConfident with a range of building fabric repairs: carpentry, painting, decorating, and minor general repairsProfessional appearance and strong communication skills – essential due to the high-end environmentAbility to work independently and manage reactive tasks efficientlyAwareness of fire safety practices is an advantagePackage: Β£37,000 – Β£39,000 annual salaryMonday to Friday, 8am – 5pm25 days holiday + bank holidaysPension schemeLong-term career progression opportunitiesStable role within a professional, well-respected teamIf you take pride in your work and want to be part of a supportive engineering team within a premium residential setting, we'd love to hear from you.Please apply using the link below or contact Ben Butt directlyTPBN1_UKTJ
