As a Print Finishing Manager, you will take full responsibility for the finishing department, ensuring efficient production, high-quality output, and effective team management. You will oversee the day-to-day operations, optimise workflows, and drive continuous improvements.

Print Finishing Manager Job Role:

* Team Leadership & Supervision – Manage, train, and motivate a team of print finishers, ensuring optimal performance and high standards of work.

* Production Planning – Oversee job scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow management to meet deadlines and maximize efficiency.

* Quality Control – Implement quality assurance processes to ensure all finished products meet the company’s high standards.

* Equipment & Process Management – Oversee the operation and maintenance of finishing equipment, including guillotines, stitching, binding, and folding machines.

* Health & Safety Compliance – Ensure a safe working environment, enforcing best practices and compliance with industry regulations.

* Continuous Improvement – Identify areas for process improvements, cost savings, and efficiency gains while maintaining high-quality output.

* Collaboration – Work closely with production managers, designers, and other departments to ensure smooth workflow and customer satisfaction.

Print Finishing Manager Skills Required:

* Proven leadership experience in a print finishing or bindery environment

* Strong knowledge of guillotine cutting, stitching, binding, and folding machinery

* Ability to train, mentor, and manage a team effectively

* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure

* Experience in production scheduling and workflow optimisation

* A hands-on approach with excellent attention to detail
