Senior Quantity Surveyor

Senior Quantity Surveyor Carlisle £68k plus car allowance 40hrs per week – Site-based – Mon-Fri We are recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team delivering the civils work on the Harker Substation project. Duties * Managing all costs relating to the building and civil engineering projects * Ensuring projects are completed within the projected budget * Providing financial and commercial advice to the project team * Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities * Monitoring and controlling costs throughout the project lifecycle * Identifying, analysing and developing responses to commercial risks * Managing subcontractor procurement, payments and final accounts * Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and quality standards Experience and Qualifications * Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within the construction or engineering sectors * Strong understanding of construction contracts, tender processes and cost control mechanisms * Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail * Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously * Strong communication and negotiation skills * Relevant degree or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field * Experience of NEC 4 Option A * Chartered
