We are actively searching for a skilled metal prep worker with specific experience with sheet metal (specifically aluminium and stainless steel). You will be working for a small, but warm & welcoming team in the fabrication unit of a leading plastics manufacturer. Due to the size of the team, all applicants must be multi-skilled, with experience across a range of machine sets.
Essential Experience for our Welder position:
- Pedestal drills
- Guillotine shears
- Experience with handling thin-to-medium gauge aluminium
- CNC Experience (preferable but not essential)
- Break Press & Plasma Cutters (preferable but not essential)
- Bolting components and riveting
Non-essential skills include: Forklift Driving and production welding - however these would prove advantageous if you hold them as part of your background.
Necessary attributes of our sheet metal worker vacancy include:

Hours of work: Monday – Thursday 7.00 am – 15.30 pm. Friday 7.00 am – 14.30 pm.
Rate of pay: £13.50- £14.00 per hour based on experience.
