About the Role: Pertemps are pleased to offer opportunities for Class 1 drivers to work on behalf of our esteemed client based out of their Banbury depot. Covering adhoc booking opportunities. As a driver, you will report directly to the Transport team and be an integral part of ensuring efficient and timely deliveries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to company procedures and regulations.
- Manage your own working time in line with tachograph rules and regulations.
- Conduct daily vehicle checks.
- Perform customer deliveries safely and promptly.
- Maintain a high standard of behaviour and appearance.
Requirements:
- A valid UK HGV 1 driving licence, held for at least 2 years.
- At least 180 days of experience driving a Class 1 vehicle in the UK within the last 2 years.
- A maximum of 6 points for minor offences (no DR or IN endorsements, for insurance purposes)
- A valid CPC DQC
- Excellent knowledge of driver hours and regulations
- Experience with refrigerated units (preferred but not essential)
