We’re a housing provider in Macclesfield with over 5000 properties across East Cheshire and the surrounding areas. We’re ambitious with plans to build more homes, regenerate local areas and invest in our properties.
We are seeking a highly motivated Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial role in managing costs and ensuring the financial viability of our investment programs and 30 year business plan. You will be responsible for supporting teams with all aspects of cost management, with particular focus on making tangible cost savings against the Trust’s 30 year plan and annual budgets. You will also be required to provide commercial support in the delivery of planned investment, compliance, major projects and cyclical investment projects and the adaptations service.
We are looking for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, communicates effectively and takes a proactive approach to problem-solving. A positive attitude, adaptability, and the ability to work effectively under pressure will also be key.
