· As an In-House Lawyer, you will provide professional legal services and business-focused advice on a wide range of contracts and commercial issues across the company’s operations., · Advise the business on legal issues relating to products and customers, agreements and contracts, suppliers, employment and general litigation.
· Responsible for reviewing, drafting and negotiating a broad and diverse range of legal documents with our external stakeholders.
· Set up and implement legal processes and assist other internal departments with legal queries.
· Responsible for providing timely, practical and commercially sound legal advice on contentious and non-contentious issues to internal stakeholders and helping to enable decision-making and formulate strategy.
· Managing employment tribunal caseload, and providing solution-orientated, risk-based legal advice to the business.
· Managing relationships with externals regarding employment work and partnering closely with the HR team to drive best practices.
· Dealing with the regulatory and compliance work.
· You’ll Identify and mitigate legal risks associated with contracts and procurement activities and support our wider procurement team’s improvement plans.
· Contribute to drafting policy, process and technical guidance on legal issues.
· Draft full suite of legal documentation as necessary, including (but not limited to) court applications, pleadings, statements of case/defences, witness statements, settlement agreements, instructions and briefs to counsel, instructions to experts, other legal documents and correspondence and all follow up as required.

· Legal Compliance: Ensuring the company adheres to all relevant laws and regulations, including industry-specific standards.
· Contract Management: Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and agreements to protect the company’s interests.
· Risk Management: Identifying potential legal risks and developing strategies to mitigate them.
· Employment Law: Advising on issues related to employment contracts, workplace policies, and disputes.
· Capacity for leading projects autonomously.
· Outside of coverage and litigation advice, providing comprehensive general legal advice regarding complex and multi-jurisdictional claims.
· Able to assist with amending and drafting policy wordings from a legal perspective.
Communication- Internal and External
· Excellent verbal and written communication, collaboration, negotiation and presentation skills. Able to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of sophistication.
Requirements:
· UK-qualified lawyer with a minimum of 3 years PQE in a similar role.
· Regulatory & corporate governance experience.
· Have strong drafting and negotiation skills and commercial awareness.
· Excellent knowledge of contract, commercial law, employment laws with demonstrable experience of contract negotiation and business judgment as well as broad practical experience in commercial and corporate matters.
· Experience in claims Management – carrying out claims investigations, preparing responses, liaising with external counsel and participating in the litigation process.
· Possessing the knack for complete and comprehensive research while being able to deliver crisp, targeted and on-point analysis in a fast-paced environment.
